About
Favor engineering, PLLC, a structural engineering consulting firm, was formed in July 2015 in downtown Roanoke, Virginia by Craig Favor as Owner, Principal and Structural Engineer. Academic studies at NC State (BS-Mechanical Engineering ’94) and Virginia Tech (MS-Civil Engineering/Structures ’97) combined with hands-on residential repair and renovation experience provided the foundation to launch Craig’s career as a structural engineer in 1997.
Craig cultivated a diverse background of project experience across numerous industry sectors while employed at a structural engineering consulting firm and a multi-discipline architectural/engineering company.
With a structural design, construction administration, and project management portfolio totaling over $800M in constructed work, utilizing a wide variety of structural systems and materials, Craig developed his reputation as a trusted resource to clients and colleagues.
Since 2004, Roanoke has been home to Craig and his wife, Helen, where their family enjoys the quality of life and many outdoor recreation opportunities this beautiful part of the country has to offer.
